In 2001, the maverick designer Tom Dixon was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen for his services to British design. The London based brand Tom Dixon was then founded shortly after in 2002. Under Tom's creative direction the brand has become internationally recognized for novel designs and pioneering innovative manufacturing processes. Tom Dixon displays a significantly unique talent for highlighting the hidden potential of a material. Not only do they create art, but they produce it meticulously in the best facilities across the globe.
