The Seki-Han Floor Lamp by Tobia Scarpa is a striking fusion of craftsmanship, light, and movement. Originally designed in 1963 and reintroduced in 2025, this sculptural floor lamp features two beautifully crafted ash wood blades connected by chrome-plated fittings that rotate around a central LED light source, allowing users to adjust the balance of direct and indirect illumination.
Inspired by traditional naval woodworking techniques, its elegant form creates a dynamic interplay between warm light and natural wood, while the raw black iron base adds a refined industrial contrast. Even when the blades are nearly closed, a delicate ribbon of light remains visible, lending the piece a poetic presence that transforms any interior into a sophisticated, atmospheric space
